These endowments are beyond all religion, and would render the most florid of ‘spiritual’ narratives tedious, diseased, and unwelcome in our minds and concerns. No one needs ‘spirituality’, and science, in our time, has become a way of lying about Origin. What is needed is the direct experience of true relation. It is this, and this alone that has value. It is only here we shall know our virtues, and these are nonconceptual and never appear in comparisons or ledgers of accounts.”
