One day soon we shall realize that human rights are not human without nature. We shall understand that we cannot be human without the living places and the animals, the insects… the waters. That our rights and their health are one issue, not two. We began with this understanding, long before we had language. Our language has estranged us from ourselves and nature… but in the right hands, it can amend even this. And it must. There is no more time for them.
