It begins with denying us meaningful roles. Roles friendly to our nature and development, social, personal, relational, environmental… every context has been invaded and converted. The roles we assume are largely ‘in response’ to those on offer, all of which are crippling, all of which are largely deanimalizing, dehumanizing… depersonalizing and desocializing.

We are asked to regress, rather than grow… in nearly every domain of development by the strangely retarded ‘gravity’ of a culture bent upon superficiality, reactivity and spectacle. And in this chaos of inchoate noise and toxicity, we will discover our own excellence, remember our humanity, and rise beyond every barrier and limitation our estrangement has imposed. We shall remember. Together. Now and forever.
