Gödel, √-1, Non-temporality of the quantum. The necessity of the nondecomposable temporal interval for relativity and the contextualization of timespace. Implied superiority of time in the complex unity of spacetime. That relativity actually means relative to the essentially universal metric of C.
Time appears to contextualize space and allow the possibility of properties or identity. √-1 is the line that travels from the eye ‘through the zero’ at the crux of the xy graph, ‘animating’ it. Calculus only supplies frames of this animation. Relativity gives it continuity. For this, one must have a nondecomposable interval. √-1 is this interval. Einstein intervened in the publication of relativity because E=MC2 had to be corrected by the addition of √-1 on both sides.
The impassible divide between the quantum and the classical. There is no crossover we can detect as experience. None. Zero. The divide is absolute at that order of the macro.
Bioquantum implications. An enzyme in relation with a protein establishes a proton superposition, and collapsing this slices the protein. This is a domain where the quantum intervenes more or less directly in a mathematical sense, but causality… disappears here. The order of events is blurred, lost, ambiguated beyond rescue. This is the necessity of connecting the classical world, in any way at all, with the quantum, where the arrow of time explodes.
Refuting the Secret, and similar bioquantum nostrums. “The quantum means the universe is a wish-granting jewel” = wrong. Refuting Hawking and similar scientistic nostrums. “The quantum is all there is.” = wrong. Refuting collapses to simple unities from complex properties and relations. The directionality of the time-cone of the unBang, and the implications of this directionality and entropy on information and intelligence. Some event (unBang) established the ‘living directionality of time’ [ my poetic words ] in the timespace complex within which the metric of light and √-1 play exceptionally fascinating roles… whose nature invites as much intrigue as perplexity.
Truth in philosophy, the errors of sophistry.
The falsehood of the idea that the eliminative materialists propose where mechanisms produce ‘the appearances of experiences, minds, persons’. This is substituting the structure of a metaphor for all of reality.
The similar falsehood of the ‘quantum believers’ that the underlying ‘relational pliability’ of the quantum (absolute nonsense) can be leveraged to produce effects in the macro world by mere thought, intention, or fervency. This is so ridiculously impossible that it doesn’t even merit conversation. But it is the same error, radically hyperbolized. They have transferred the structure of a metaphor to reality, replaced reality with -a cartoon of the correct understanding of that structure- and then commended themselves on having understood the primordial nature of the universe. Wrong.
Five lethal errors:
0. To replace the context with a mechanism or observation, collapse the subject (person) into the phenomenon, and declare yourself enlightened is catastrophic stupidity. This is done both by science (eliminative materialists) and religions (especially the new-age quantum believer cults). Both of these ideas are so ridiculous that they have to essentially defeat your intelligence before they can even get set up. After that? Anything goes.
Most people with arguments about this are selling themselves or a nostrum, scientistic or religious. And they are horribly, catastrophically confused.
1. Replace a phenomenon with a description, deny this.
2. Replace all possible perspectives with one produced by a religious or scientific metaphor. Deny this.
3. Put on the ‘sunglasses’ (filters) of this metaphor as a seeing-way so that it is the only way you can see. Deny this.
4. Abstract the metaphor’s structure, project it on reality, replace reality with it. Deny this.
When time’s arrow disappears, nothing like time remains. The quantum has no time, and cannot be connected to the classical/relativistic without -totatal- ambiguation of cause and effect. This ambiguation may well be the signature of the quantum in the biological.
