“I had a dream that I was in a vast mall-like labyrinth of many levels. Each of what would have been stores, was a ‘personal exhibition’ organized to both compete with others and attract constant attention and spectators. The displays were scenes from their lives, or profoundly exaggerated scenes implying their own beauty, prowess, power, intelligence, wealth, insight, or humor. I wandered from facade to facade, fascinated, and wondering if I had a store like this somewhere. Then I woke up. Facebook was on the screen across from the bed.”
