I can visualize people who understand the danger of images and commercial culture without needing to be religious or even dogmatic. They would simply understand that the frameworks encouraged and communicated by common culture and media are toxic, dehumanizing, stupidifying, and pernicious. And then, together, they would begin to establish something so amazing in place of their participation in those absurdities that we might even have a chance of using our mutual interest and effort in service of something that resembles humanity more than it does an advertisement or the result of a psy-ops operation gone bad.”
