How can one possess wisdom? It is like possessing the quality of the atmosphere which gives life. It is clearer to say that we participate in wisdom, or, that we may elicit and inhabit it together. Minds or the world may draw one another into wisdom in the way lovers draw one another into a kiss. But who possesses the kiss? It is like this. Wisdom is the kiss of intimacy whose results are senses of knowledge, meaning, origin, purpose and relation that cannot be reduced to words or possessions.
