“We don’t have the details because there is no spokesperson or even organization. The game spreads from person to person, forming small, tightly-knit groups who apparently compete for excellence without ever being tracked or named. They arise, act, and dissolve again in a process so rapid and effective that they can only really be said to be involved during actions. The rules are confusing, but apparently involve leveraging aspects of trance-like behavior amongst groups to produce otherwise unthinkable relational superfunction — along with exotic forms of effective intelligence — these are then organized and directed at specific ‘targets’ within their lives and cultures.

We have no idea where this came from. Was it engineered by an enemy of state? Quite possibly. It seems more likely it was the brainchild of a group like those it produces — whose structure and members dissolved back into anonymity shortly after the inaugural action… which was to provide a basic, self-extending framework that became both the basic outlines of the game and the methods for establishing and dissolving the groups. The problem is, even the outline evolves with each instancing, taking on forms and abilities which are not only unpredictable, they are, in most cases, undetectable until long after they have succeeded.”
