There is a fascinating way in which it becomes obvious that it is time which lends intelligibility to space, which is to say phenomenon, and that this intelligibility is, in every case, at once a set of relational potentials and a vast system of what can be understood as threads of temporal extent. Intelligibility depends upon a history of precedents, encounters, reflections, comparisons, metaphications… all of which are the produce of ‘ongoing’ temporality… they assemble themselves to our awareness as matters of hindsight compressed into understanding in and as the moment.
