Hardship is lift which our hearts may use to experience the form of learning-as-flying which is our nature but is everywhere inhibited in our cultures… but if we reject or critique it, if we take offense, it becomes not lift but drag… and it burns… and we are reduced from walking to crawling and falling and colliding.
When in the learning-as-flying, the hardship is actually -felt and understood as momentum-energy-. Not insult. The opposite: power. Unless we choose to crawl. In which case it becomes a tyrannical power, external to us, crushing, enslaving and abusing us.
When suffering, choose the form of self-accelerating learning which is (nearly) impossible to most, yet natural to all.
