The intelligence you brought with you into human birth was, in nearly every way, superior to the ‘usurper’ intelligence you acquired with it. The character and events of human history are not, as commonly supposed, simply the result of human nature. They are, more clearly, the results of the cultural constructs we most often develop, acquire, distribute, or attack. So, too, our own intelligence. The general character and functionality of the intelligence forms our species has been involved with over at least the past 2000 years has been tyrannical, hyperaggressive, self-aggrandizing, and catastrophically ineffective at acting ‘intelligently’ in general.

There is a reason why what we seek -must- lie -entirely- beyond human culture: we brought it with us, and it wasn’t made on Earth. It wasn’t a thing of language. It didn’t have rules. It was the most powerful, truthful, astonishingly effective mode of intelligence you could possibly be endowed with. And -that- is what you came to human birth to experience, not, as nearly all of us have, its ongoing replacement with rapacious advertisements of technological ecstasies and pseudo-spiritual aggrandizements.

The speechless power of the child’s intelligence so vastly exceeds the adult’s that it is astonishing we can be convinced to make this trade. Nearly all of you who read this will have no real idea what I am talking about, precisely -because- you have acquired language and identify either strongly or absolutely with paradigms, models, names, categories and ideas from culture (or subcultures). If you did not understand language, I would not need to attempt to explain this, since it would already be clear. See how paradoxical this becomes?

My point is simple: the intelligence you came to human birth with has been ‘developing in exile’ since you ‘became a regular human’. Even if you think you’re exotic, a genius, or from the sky this is just as true. Forget what you think and directly recover what you brought with you.

Nothing else can actually serve you, so there is no need to waste time with all the beautifully arranged pseudo-hypnotic reflections that the culture will endlessly immerse you in. Wipe the entire library. Then go looking for what still remains. That little, sacred, shining thread. Find it, and you will speak and see… together… as you did before…

… in the beginning, when it was good.
