We do not realize we are each carrying a nonordinary intelligence of almost impossible sophistication. To awaken it is not that difficult, but (usually) requires contexts and perspectives appropriate to such a task.
A mind is comparable to an egg in that it encompasses a seed of astonishing potential which is alive. Unfortunately, our cultures are fundamentally interested in insuring that our eggs remain sterile and inert, for only in this form are they manipulable. Most of us will live and die never suspecting what we were carrying.
Drugs and cultural recidivism are not the appropriate response.
If you would hatch your egg, first understand what has kept it in stasis.
Invariably, these will be stories acquired from human cultures, present and past. Admitting the rare exceptions, there are effectively two species. One of them simply binds dynamism into stasis. This sterilizes the egg. The other, however, masquerades as a hatchery. This insures the egg does not receive the necessary stimulus that would allow fertile eggs to progress toward hatching. Both are predatory.
The human stories want to survive in place of what you are carrying. For this reason, I suggest that you leave -all- of the stories at home, and examine the egg, directly.
Become intimate with the shell. Warm it. Attend it. Let your sacred interiority… become pregnant… give birth to what you have so secretly and sacredly carried for so long…
hatch it.
