There is within each of us an anciently conserved protolinguistic asset that, when properly activated, transforms human intelligence entirely, achieving a form of ‘escape velocity’ from our ordinary misapplication of it, and generating a form of transentient prodigy. Inexplicably, our cultures employ specific inhibiting features of our relationships with language, knowledge and authority to shut it down in early childhood, and thereafter few indeed can resurrect it.
