We will eventually come to understand that either all or the vast proportion of ‘alien’ encounters have nothing to do with aliens, and everything to do with the nature of intelligence. This nature is peculiar and unlike our models which suppose we possess something that cannot be possessed. What is actually going on is that we participate in networks, and these networks have multiple ‘orders’ of instancing. When one order contacts another directly, bizarre effects occur. This is the source of the lion’s share of our ‘alien’ reports, particularly those that are labelled as ‘abductions’.

Many of the same or similar effects can be produced by intimate contact with other orders of life such as insects, animals and trees. Contact with one’s own ‘soul’ will almost certainly appear to be contact with some form of alien intelligence. But since everyone is so busy propagating their absurd theories, no one is taking a look at the obvious, plain facts: everything is intelligent, and when orders cross over, astonishing effects result.
