Within the relatively narrow range of their definitions, physicists appear to remain correct in their hypothesis that nothing which carries information can travel faster than light. Yet there are problems with this idea that are so simple even a child can discover or understand them. An example is mind.
Mind is that which surpasses all models and ideas, being the living media within which such structures arise, find expression, modulate and depart. It is a phenomenon of an entirely superior order, in which the models of physics represent structural products and processes; and a human being… or any living being… is again, a position superior to (a superposition of) mind as we commonly understand or define it.
A regards light and information-transfer, however, imagine yourself witnessing the starry night sky — better yet, have a look at it directly. During this experience you become a point of unification for light-information which originates within thousands of stars, many light-years from each other. Within you, through your skin and eyes, in your being and mind, this information instantaneously achieves a peculiar form of unification whose actual qualities resist enumeration.
If you look from one star to another, in a matter of seconds, mind has moved many light years, almost instantly. The ramifications of this are too sophisticated to argue here, or even in the context of physics. Suffice it to say that the living mystery of mind surpasses all models in a way analogous to how the sun exists as a metapositional precursor to all life on earth, and thus (in this sense) represents a position of being superior and previous to all science, language, belief, relation, and circumstance.
The relationships between light, velocity, information, and mind are mysterious… but we are the living vehicle of their unifications, expressions, and exploration.
