The pressure comes to warp and crush
The song to rings and fevered rush
The world is torn from all that’s known
As if a water, struck by stone
And in the rings that scream and rend
My mind and body find their end
And as I’m torn away from time
A passage opens in the rhyme
And there the pulse of ages sings
And rocks the universe, and brings
The sacred bell, the maelstrom’s seed
The spiraling, the water’s speed
They draw me from my sleeping state
Toward the sky, the ancient gate
Beyond which all that’s holy dwells
The secret worlds, the spirit bells
And when they toll, my body breaks
And all my history, all my mistakes
Erased in lightning’s majesty
Remade beyond all tragedy
And shining for a moment true
Before the dawn’s perfected hue
My inner spirit free and clean
Between the seer, and the seen.
