The bell’s silent peal was hues and lights.
The sky’s whsiper flies my soul like its own ecstatic bird.
As tiny silver mice made seed books from cougar bones,
my eyes caught fire and escaped.

Like whisps of ghost-hair lit by dreams, these holy orbs,
seething with the obscure conversations of little inner stars.
