It is as if each person has a living chrysalis inside them of which they are entirely unaware. And it is natural they are unaware of it, for their awareness might interfere with its development. But within this strange compartment is a spirit-creature, which is not an animal, but a community of animals that do not come merely from Earth, but from Time.

And there is a living key that opens the chrysalis. It is like a kind of intelligent lightning which is at once a divine agency and a companion. Prior to this encounter, the people are like walking dreamers. They cannot really see, and do not really understand that they are blind. They sleep and think themselves awake. Their minds chew rocks and think them fruit.

But if they come into proximity with the key, or with one who has thus emerged… they become at first agitated… and then the chrysalis within them shatters, and what emerges is beyond the sum of human stories and religions. They become something much more than human, and their sleep is cast off forever, and their minds acquire capacities for creative and relational insight that stagger the wildest of imaginations.

If but one of us acquires and manages to transmit this living key… the process will spread like lightning. And even a small number of people thus activated… could transform the planet and human history… dramatically, rapidly, and exquisitely. No army or government could stand against them. They could, quite literally, save the world.

The sleepers must awaken.
