Spacetime is your third hemisphere. You were born as a recursion into your own mind. The other living beings (and stars, and worlds) are analogous to your extrinsic neurons.

When you attack them, when they are decimated, or you forget this, you become lost, like most of the humans and cultures in which you are secondarily immersed.
