When we lose contact with place, with animals, with Nature and the rhythms of the living beings and the sky… we lose contact with the basis of our own being, not to mention much of our hope of experiencing real intelligence.

For how shall we understand intelligence without understanding its living expression in and as the organismal world? And how shall we understand ourselves divorced from deep immersion in the living context of place?
