If you want to see some of the trouble nesting in human conceptions of the world, simply watch the average person walking a dog. The dog finds portals of interest everywhere it goes. It is learning. The human, for its part, generally expects to transport the dog to and from ‘a place of interest’. The human has, rather automatically, hypostasized not just the world, but space itself. And most of it is uninteresting.
