Many of the first questions they silenced in us (with ‘information’) were amongst the most crucial to preserve. ‘What is the sky?’ is an excellent example. What we are told in answer to this question is generally absurd. A vast and vital mystery is reduced to a conceptual sketch, easy to deliver and understand. But alas, what was discarded?
