The whole ‘2012’ idea is a red herring; distracting the vast majority of those who ‘believe it’ to the degree that they are neglecting the issues we must attend in our time: the wholesale ecological, relational, cognitive, social and infrastructure catastrophes that are aggressively proceeding while people dream of fairy-tale apocalypses which they imagine to be sourced in indigenous or ‘celestial’ wisdom.
