Millennia before our species discovered psychedelics, we ‘discovered’ what every child already knows: that when you fold awareness back upon itself, such that awareness becomes the subject which draws awareness into observation — this act folds time. And as we have come to understand, time and space are unified. Psychedelics were not the source of our unique cognitive assets — or our prodigy; it was folding.
