If one hunts and fishes and gardens they will constantly acquire and exchange commensal bacteria from the soil, the animals, fish, insects, all the things those creatures contact… a wild and fervent set of many streams of co-evolving bacteria. Some (few) of them are deadly, yes… but others represent assets of a kind we do not yet believe exists. One of which is a vector for… transentience.
