Before you start to think or talk about the brain, which many in our time suppose to be either ‘a computer or like a computer’, you had best pause for serious reflection: the brain is not an object that receives a world and describes it to you. As the brain is an element of ˚that which brings forth reality itself˚, it is not ammenable to absurdly reductive caricatures like ‘it’s a computer’.
