Alas, we do not see the world, each other, ourselves, or the living beings at all. We see what we have imprinted on top of them. Stories. Were we to see directly, without the endless layers of lies we have ourselves heaped up, we would reel in shock, wonder, and awe at how deluded, and how very deeply confused we had been. And then we would be shocked again, to see that this was voluntary.
