“The feature of our experience that compels us to feel and believe we are »separate from other persons, beings, plants, the sky, everything… is from the same family of deceptive ‘intuitions’ that deny us the sense that we’re moving when we’re standing still on the surface of the Earth.
It’s that problem where you cannot really tell you’re moving, even though you’re moving in seven dimensions at seven different speeds. Because your perception is stuck at the register of the reference frame you both inhabit and comprise.
This is the same problem we have with thinking humans are ‘individuals’. They’re literally ‘just one being’ (and with all the other beings) in 77 dimensions we’re »usually unaware of. And the ’emotion’ we call ‘love’ is one of the most accessible ways outside that register-trap. There are others, too. But that one … is as near at hand as your hand, and works »in any dimension or register.
It’s a relativistic problem. And it has a solution that resembles some of the revelations of relativity — the implications… that have gone unsuggested and unexplored during the race to turn Einstein’s findings into measurements and machines.”
