Constantly amazed at the nearly absolute difference between posting things on social media… and actually affecting the issue posted about.

Basically, posting is (nearly always) the opposite of effective action, but our minds do not ordinarily perceive this. In our minds, ‘saying something’ is affecting it, but it is not this way online… or rather, the effect, is often the opposite of what is intended.
