Let me put this in a far simpler frame:

Black Swans (c.f. N.N. Taleb) are world-changing events that could not have been foreseen.

‘A.I’ is, effectively, a Black Swan factory… that produces »not merely Black Swan events… but »new and more powerful Black Swan »factories.

No species will survive that (evolution cannot cope with this).

There is no form of cognition that can survive that.
