So there’s a crucial concept here… that’s not merely about music, but about »the nature of cognition… and also »values of truth that do not matter… because most of creativity, inspiration, insight and the power of thought and imagination… do not have to do with whether or not something is ‘true’ but rather… if it is generative of wonder, joy, awe, anamnesis, adoration… or »beauty.

The basic gist here is: look upon the shape that is forming in your mind, and then »do not obey it, but instead, »play in the spaces around it for the sake of wonder and beauty…

So, for ( a very simple ) example, if I think:

“Capitalism and Kleptocracy are killing our planet…”

saying »that is tedious, useless and depressing. But I can invert and play »around those ideas, to show the inversion…

“Yesterday I got together with three other people, and we walked around the city just solving problems we discovered together. And it gave me a vision, of a way of being human together… that actually resembled our hearts, orientations… and desires to experience the fulfillment of the promises implicit in our human nature. It was a small experiment, but, afterwards, we wondered what it might be like to live in a society established around these principles. And we realized that it was a goal we could actually achieve, since we did precisely that, together, for 12 hours that day.”
