Apparently, it is common to think that »research ‘tells us what things are’ forever.

But what if things are, as the Greeks thought, always changing?

What if, in some epochs or times, the rate of changes and their scope increases dramatically?

Are brains always the same thing?

Are hearts? Lungs? Skin?

Are minds »just one thing?

Is birth ‘the same thing’ for everyone born?

Is death?

What if time undergoes transformations… that entirely defy clocks?

Maybe things aren’t actually things in the way our language and categories incline us to suppose… or even declare…
