“Did anyone else read Inga Muscio’s book that apparently we can’t name on FB back in the day and take the advice about playing chess to become a better feminist so seriously, but they were traveling around being a hobo stripper and had no one to play chess with, and for years felt like a bad feminist because of not becoming good at chess? And then somehow ended up in a relationship with a man despite always being a lesbian, but the man plays chess with you and you sharpen your teeth and become better at destroying empire? And then you’re like, “I know, I’ll sew shoes.” Or is it just me?”
