It’s a Cartoon Where…

It’s a cartoon where a train is racing toward a tunnel’s mouth.
And explodes when it hits the solid opening.
All the parts of the train turn into letters spinning and shattering.

And one becomes a little girl, filled with possible little boys.
After a while, she gets a dress and some flowers. Various parents and such.
Then little boys start appearing all around her.

You are stars, she thinks, about these boys.
She’s actually telling a hilarious joke.
The little boys say and do things. Some of them are mean.
One of the mean boys spits on her and calls her a bad name.
But where the spit lands an entire world springs to life.

She isn’t really sure what to do with this world, and makes up games about it.
In the games, various ghosts have dances and wars, shopping and fucking.
These become her makeup and her underwear.

She decides that no one will ever be allowed to see her underwear.
Of course, the result is that no one can see anything else!

One day, at her birthday party, God shows up at the door.
Did you bring me a present? She asks.
God gives her a bird nest, and inside it, stars are forming.

Those aren’t boys! Says the little girl.
I know, says God. They’re eggs.
What will happen if I hatch them? She asks.
