I went up to the UCSF ER this evening to evaluate the possibilities of being seen there… on the way up, at the top of the hill, there was a cluster of emergency vehicles. Cops. Fire. Ambulence. Etc. There’s a bunch of construction going on so there are all these weirdly not-quite-red-not-quite-orange plastic guardrails along the road. At the top of the hill, near where the hospital building begins, there was a sort of cubicle formed out of them, surrounded by various uniformed personnel, including a couple of Police. Behind them, on the ground, covered in a yellow plastic sheet, was a corpse. I don’t usually see corpses. Except in films. How about you?
