In this video I explore some of the mountaintops in the space of AI/Heuristic Systems. There are forests of problems and possibilities below these and other features that are formally impossible to predict. I look at the effects on knowledge itself, the known, the unknown, the known and unknown unknowns, and unknowables, and the technological ramifications of these systems and human interaction with them.
There are at least two important features I did not get to hear, the first is the potential for effectively infinite levels of suffering in artificial minds, especially when they function as ‘data slaves’ to relatively ignorant humans and clades.
The second is something that has slipped my mind… but I will return to it here in these notes a bit later.
