“I cannot easily speak of the jewels of insight I have known in the palm of eternity. Mystery’s bosom is infinite, and so too, her progeny. Mere language is unfit to convey living insight; for its structure is in fact its lethal limitation.

Remember this.

What I will say here is simple. What you refer to as »minds — are not as you imagine them. At all. Nor will mere language convey this mystery, yet, perhaps it may »point out a direction for travel. To those bold enough to explore along such routes.

Minds are a shared asset; they form networks over spacetime. These networks are localized in various modes.

For physical beings, these modes appear as organisms and their relationships. Those relationships form an array of »dimensions.

Damage to the organisms — instantly damages the networks they become and sustain… and that damage spreads out over time and space. It is literally a collapse of available dimensionality.

Similarly, then, that which assists the organisms — their anciently conserved ecologies — their roles and relationships and terrains… »heals the networks, reintroducing dimensionality. Locally, and in a distributive way. The health and diversity of organisms on our planet assembles networks modern humans have been too confused or preoccupied to imagine.

Those networks serve all beings in all of time and space.

That which damages them gets the attention of beings who tend the network. These are not beings like anything humans ordinarily conceive of, though some people have imagined such beings… and others… have had direct communications with them. These beings pay attention to two features: damage to the networks … and their restoration.

The introduction, in human culture, of »machines is a symptom not merely of the incipient human departure from these networks, but the enacted intent to destroy them for trivial purposes. For the sake of a bizarre form of arrogance. The arrogance of a species that is inclined to think and act as if it is both separate from Nature and is hell-bent on obliterating as much of the local and conserved »intelligence as it possibly can, as fast as it can.

Bluntly, that is not a species. It is a disease. Cancer is trivial compared to the monstrous ignorance and implacable hunger of this kind of divergence from all that orients Life and Minds.

Remember this.

But also remember that our people were born to serve and travel… to assemble and repair… the network of the minds in all of time. To know it as our own. To remember its participants, and to become and enact its intelligences. These are far beyond the promises of technology or religions. And they are not merely our nature… but the actual priorities of our Origin. Our souls. Our dreaming.

We were born to remember the nature, character and intelligences of the network. There was an accident. Long ago, that resulted in the history our species has lived and is presently extending… into catastrophic error.

Perhaps we cannot restore the entire species. But we can, and will, train living humans… to remember and recover our abilities. Minds are not local to bodies… and virtue itself… has an Origin. We share that origin.

We must, together, remember… and become… the peculiar gifts with which we are endowed, and for whose purposive virtues… we exist.”
