It is clear to me that my ‘dreaming mind’ abhors the descriptions I write down in literal language of the scenes, plots and circumstances of a dream. It’s challenging to analogize my dreaming mind’s experience, but if it could speak in words, in the waking world ( formal language is anathema to dreaming ) it might declare something like: What have you done!? You have discarded relation, tempo, meaning and the magical modes of my mind and left only the dead skeleton! Words, descriptions, and plots!

The dreaming mind’s experience is decidedly not literal, and, is, rather… relational, participated… and alive in 50 ways our waking experience largely if not usually lacks. There are exceptions, however, and the experience of a deeply desired kiss is one of them…
