All of our common thought and modern situation is concerned primarily with object-relations and travel in space. I say we have this backwards. It is »time-as-relation which is fundamental to our origins and actual nature.

And, if you look closely at the behavior of our species, particularly our mechanical inventions… it immediately becomes clear that we are trying to traverse time-as-relation. Literally, to ‘skip’ this and evict ourselves from it… for the sake of representations of having lived… rather than living.

The ancients were intimately aware of this, which is a terrible secret to us moderns. Our nature is temporal, more than it is physical. And the features we refer to as »minds are for relation with other intelligences that our object-addiction has evicted us from.

The universe is a vast maelstrom of intelligences that only science-fiction authors have approached. And our ancestors knew this not cognitively, but viscerally. They ‘traveled’ not so much in space, as in relation and time… with intelligences so astonishing that even our most sophisticated authors have largely failed to suspect, let alone introduce us to.

Signals in »time are fundamental to intelligence. And our species is sending the most lethal of messages there. It is something akin to ‘we kill time and each other… ceaselessly… for the sake of our machines’.

Only a deadly species (or intelligence) would find this ‘attractive’.
