Governments should have expiration dates. Like other things that consume us. This one probably expired in the late 1800’s, but by 1950 it was almost pure irony. The fact that we are bound together in a nightmare like this … should encourage us all to find a completely other way of pretending to be civilized. Or even… intelligent.
