Last night, a moth had come in my back door during the night. The artificial light disoriented it. When I noticed this, I selected a glass to capture it in, and I spoke to it in the place where we are one being together. But it fluttered all over the room, and I could not place the glass over it to take it outside. So I let the matter rest, so to speak.
This evening, I walked into my kitchen and the lights were already on from previous use. I noticed the moth had settled on the outer surface of a glass cup. I very gently picked up the cup and took it outside, placing it on a shelf.
The moth was free again.
Time is a strange and many wondered non-thing.
But mutual concern… is beyond even time.
