It is not so difficult … in fact it is trivial … to so overwhelm our natural faculties and sensitivities…
… that the world of the nonordinary largely disappears from our direct access and experience.
One result is fictions that preserve some skeletal trinket with a modest resemblance to what our people knew and lived… before this was the common state of affairs.
And so we have strange cults. Of every imaginable kind.
But underneath all of that is an unfulfilled desire.
To touch, again … the impossible… especially together.
Which is our origin.
And nature.
