There are many words whose definitions and implications… have been counterfeited by modernity (our modern contexts and what drives their ‘development’. For example: the use of the word ‘our’ in the above sentence. To what population does it refer? Might it now refer to the »actively developing absence of actual relationships and meaningful roles?

Yes. Primarily, used generally, this word, like the word ‘we’, now, most often refers to the complexifying »extinction of meaningful social roles and relationships.

By what?

Counterfeits. Institutions, contagious habits, behaviors, activities, thoughts… that are the »opposite of any meaningful sense of ‘our’ or ‘we’.

This isn’t the only option, it’s the common meaning that isn’t recognized because, apparently, it’s common to believe in the myth that is left when these things disappear, and it is counterintuitive to presume that it might refer to its »opposite now.

Technology is another such word. Where it replaces meaningful roles and relationships with »transactions… we should understand Technology to »mean this. Wiping out Life on Earth and human intelligence »never represented ‘an advance’, but rather, a »defection. From our humanity, potential, intelligence… and relationships.

Into what?

Why, »representations. Counterfeits. Lethal behavior operating under the «old» definition: Advancement.

Cancer ‘advances’ too. We call it metastasis (acquiring new terrain for conversion to dead-yet-agressively-living ’tissues’.
