Someone in the newsfeed posted the following statement:

“To allow another to frame reality for you is to surrender cognitive sovereignty.”

Two problems here:

1. This statement is self-violating, because it frames reality. So if you agree, your sovereignty is violated »by this statement.

2. Everyone depends on each other to help us ‘frame reality’. This is the nature of social animals. The statement cannot be true. There might be cases where something resembling it is true, however, this is not one of them.
