It’s hard for me to imagine that our ‘world’ isn’t a paracosm (an imaginary world that exists in our minds, habits and behaviors). It’s not precisely that there isn’t a ‘real’ world’; rather, there’s no way to relate with or understand that ‘real’ world except through (extremely partially, and in different ways) imagining it. This doesn’t imply that it’s ‘a good idea’ to imagine whatever we want, but it drops the hammer on anyone having a ‘real’ worldview. The only possible worldview (i.e. paracosm) is an imaginary one — because the world, for us, exists largely in imagination.
