What we understand as functions of parts, they understood as flows of essence between »beings.
Neither understanding was perfect or complete…
… but theirs more resembles the nature of life and intelligence than what we do under the guise of a Mastery implied by our technologies.
This pose is furiously contradicted by our catastrophic inability to employ technological developments in ways that fail to introduce 7 deadly problems for every apparent “solution”.
This is, in part, because our processes and machines are divorced from their proper origins in intimacy, ecology, and mutual concern. So we have invented layer after layer of the dissociated pursuit of ‘convenience’ or ‘power’.
But without unity, those ideals are self-ironizing.
