We live in a situation so ironic, that if we were not smack in the middle of it… no one would be likely to believe it, even as a fiction. Who would imagine, for example, that the bizarre array of forces presently incoherently comprising the Left would open the door to a Facistic power-grab resulting in a cascade of political, economic and social catastrophes?

Yet now, we’re not only in this position, we’re beyond it. America’s future, and, by extension, the future of the world is hanging by a series of unexpected threads… that are not merely vulnerable to catastrophic disruption… the situation at present invites if not demands this.

Equality of opportunity and justice for all people are crucial goals we have broad agreement about the necessities of… but the tactics employed matter deeply … and those presently driving our pursuit of a just and meaningful society… have created a perfect storm for a vast array of predatory forces that are poised to topple not only our society, but the complex constellation of ecologies, International Politics, Economics… and situational opportunism.

This podcast sketches the landscape… will we understand and respond together to the Tsunami-like situation we are all caught up in, or will we remain the pawns in a game too few of us are capable of understanding, let alone averting?
