The agenda is deceptive; it proposes (somewhat covertly) that there is »a penultimate scaffold that pre-asserts it supremacy or necessity … for all conversations. That it is »the authoritative, true scaffold, upon which »all communications should, are or must be founded or by which they must be ‘judged’.

That’s an incredibly bizarre and dangerous assertion. It’s the kind of insanity one is used to from extremist fanatics of various stripes.

That it »might be »a scaffold that »could be employed to analyze a text or communications exchange I would not be too likely to argue against. Of course, we are free to bring the lenses we prefer into purposeful utility in some actual situation. Even if I personally find them reprehensible, either in form, or in common or actual result…

But the assertion that there is »a correct or »morally appropriate thing … which must be »the thing to do, or that »others »must do… would need a catastrophic upgrade to merely become wrong.

It’s absolutely incoherent, and, from my perspective, should be drawn fiercely into question wherever such an attempt is made. I will never allow such a scaffold to be erected around my mind or writing, and, indeed… it is engineered for a purpose it never truly announces.

Lynching.

The actual intent of the scaffold is to covertly empower and recommend… a kind of witch hunt, with the traditional gender roles … inverted.

That I agree with the necessity of something closely resembling equality is precisely why I would excuse myself from such a dangerous and deformed purpose. It doesn’t establish a context of equality or dialogue, rather it invents a toxic narrative in specific ways that not only fail to accomplish their avowed purpose, they ironically invert the flaws thus emphasized, re-embodying them in a recursively reiterative victim/perpetrator dialectic from which there is no escape.

This isn’t to say we should not have discussions involving current or historical harm to some aggrieved party, or a class of people who are and have been wronged. In appropriate contexts… this is an urgent imperative that must be undertaken with honesty, insight and intelligence.

Yet much of what is going on beneath this banner is deceptive and sets up a *drama triangle in which the one making the scaffold takes on the role of ‘hero’ or ‘rescuer’ as the first move. I intuitively and analytically oppose this purpose, and its usual outcomes.
