If one looks closely and carefully enough, it becomes apparent that many ‘conspiracy theories’ (that are demonstrably wrong) are actually disoriented expressions of real concerns that were never properly recognized, expressed, or addressed…

Examples:

5g: No one has properly tested the effect on organisms of electrosmog. Why would we believe that because it doesn’t kill us outright, it’s fine to be bathed in mechanically generated EM signals at all times? This is an absurd idea (at least to me).

Or even: Light pollution. LED streetlights are an atrocity on the eyes. Bad EMR is a real thing, even if 5g is not »particularly the problem… and the constant rollout of technologies (and chemistries) that are either untested or mistested results in reasonable suspicion and actual environmental toxicification.

Chemtrails: Geoengineering is an actual thing, but we’ve been doing geoengineering with cars, ships, industrial and jet exhaust for decades… and not only did we not stop, we keep ramping it up. Jet exhaust is extremely toxic… all by itself.

There is no virus/vaccines are deadly: Medical science is confusing. Antibiotics were both incredibly useful… and totally deadly. They changed the human genome and our microbiome in ways we won’t understand for decades. Actual medical care frequently results in disasters, misdiagnoses, unnecessary or unsuccessful treatments. Research can be and is often guided by corporate interest, rather than intelligible, ethical, practice. Our medical infrastructure is sometimes more lethal than what it tries to cure. Corporations are not caregiving entities… they are for-profit entities. Why? Because the foundations of our societies are fundamentally broken, misguided… and dangerous. The ‘statistical safety’ of a given treatment doesn’t resolve the fact that some people die of it.

These are just a few examples, but I think that, underneath many ‘conspiracy theories’ we could locate actually crucial concerns that, never having been properly addressed, have mutated into info-religions.

And this helps us understand … and, perhaps, address this behavior… in part by recognizing the unaddressed issues that underlie and catalyze it… and actually fucking addressing them (in a world I can only barely imagine, yet believe we must advance toward as rapidly and effectively as possible).
