Hoped for this a long time ago… haven’t watched it yet, but this scenario from Inland Empire was so… (redacted) that I was unable to (redacted) anything for a long time… because this ‘distraction’ was (almost) more compelling than the main feature.
But the thing that really struck me, was that he had instanced something only he had ever done before… the direct experience of something resembling the ‘ambiguations’ of a dream… within a ‘hollywood’ film. Within the narrative that held it captive… and covertly pretended… to superiority…
